This way of saying, so common in Spanish, evokes absolute trust, the kind that allows us to act without reservations, with total confidence in ourselves, others, and the situation.
Trust is the backbone of tango, the foundation upon which we build connection, communication, and respect. In the embrace of tango, trust allows us to cross boundaries, explore vulnerabilities, and strengthen bonds, making each encounter an act of faith and surrender. Imagine dancing without fear, leaping into the unknown, closing your eyes, open yourself to the present moment, and surrendering to the flow of improvisation. Indeed, dancing tango, improvisational par excellence, is about learning to inhabit the uncertainty of becoming, to trust ourselves, each other, and the energy of the circle. This seminar is a safe space where you step out of your comfort zone to fortify your trust. It’s an invitation to feel the new paths that open in your dance and in your life when you truly trust. |
We are Amparo Ferrari and Sebastián Zabronski, partners in life and in tango, sharing our journey for more than 20 years.
We are multidisciplinary artists, curious researchers, and educators. As often happens with couples, we are very different yet perfectly complementary. When we began dancing together, Amparo approached tango with seriousness and rigor, while Sebastián embraced it with lightness and spontaneity. This contrast, as you can imagine, sparked more than one conflict. But it also sparked a process of mutual transformation—crucial for uniting us in a true embrace. It allowed Amparo to break free from her “corsets” and helped Sebastián build solid foundations for his dance. This dichotomy between the serious and the light, and the possibilities that emerge when we move from one extreme to the other, is what gives us our creative fight today as dance partners and teachers. |
